About the event
Lighting techniques for dancing might not be as simple as the techniques for normal photoshoots unless you understand your lights and use them for the right purposes. Â
In this 4-hour lighting workshop, Duke Pham will explain some basic ballet positions and terminology, and explore dramatic lighting techniques. He will teach how to capture peak action, and how to freeze motion, or use blur to convey movement using studio strobes.
This is sure to be a fun and exciting workshop and will give you a good background in photographing dancers, along with some dynamite portfolio images.
Free water and snacks will be provided during the break time.
Space is limited to 8 photographers
After the workshop, the photographers have the opportunity to book private shooting sessions (One On One) with the model/dancer Analiece every 30 minutes (ticket sold separately)
Photographers need to bring their own DSLR/Mirrorless camera and lenses.
